Good things I see due to COVID-19
As COVID-19 occur and have many impacts globally, it has significant impact on economics. Many people lose their job due to restrictions from government to control the virus. Some business can not run normally.
At the same time, due to restriction in human activities, there are positive impact on the environment. Turtle laid their eggs on the beach because there is no disturbances from human. A group of dolphins and manatee swim together in large groups.
No air pollution because no air transport between countries. People do not have to commute to work, they can work from home. Many people start new online businesses. Because it is not safe to put all the eggs in one basket, if you work as analyst, you can teach others on YouTube or other platform.
Factories have to stop producing goods. As a result, there is no water pollution left from producing processes. Abundance of food and animals will increase.
It is environmental reset. What we used to think that it is impossible, it is possible to do. We can change the way to do businesses because the economics is in conic recession after this.
After the COVID-19 end, it is time to rethink many theories. Economics is important, but not the first priority. Human lives are the most important.
The environment and the businesses may go in totally different directions or the same way — for better or for worse, it is the choices to make.
